How can I benefit from Personal Training?

A personal trainer can assess individual needs and formulate a plan designed to help you reach your goals. Whether your goal is to lose weight, increase muscle size, train for a particular sport or event or simply enhance your existing workout program.

 

Personal training will also provide nutritional guidance, motivation and provide proper training techniques to make each workout more effective.

How long do sessions last?

Sessions are booked on an hourly basis. Each workout normally lasts 1 hour including time warm up and cool down.

 

If you prefer to exercise for a full hour you can warm up and cool down independently.

Can I share a session with a friend?

 

Absolutely, shared training is one of the best ways of saving money whilst still getting the 'personal' effect. Shared training works better if you and your friend have similar goals.

 

If you are interested in sharing a session but you haven't got a friend to share with, we might be able to match you with one of our current clients who would be happy to share.

What type of training will I be doing?

 

More like, what won't you be doing!

 

In our experience we have found that most clients want the same things:

to lose weight, tone up and get fitter.

 

We aim to teach you a range of exercises with varied equipment so your body is always adapting and you always find the workouts different and enjoyable.

 

Burning calories comes down to movements and there so many ways we can move you wouldn't believe it. We are sure we can find something you enjoy.

 

You will not be forced to do anything which you do not want to do. There will be more than one way to reach your goals.

Where is Personal Training conducted?

 

amc-training is based at active4less in Stevenage, however we are available for home personal training all around Hertfordshire.

 

As well as training in the gym, at home and even in your place of work, we are more than enthusiastic to tackle the great outdoors in the form of running, biking, hiking or swimming.

When is Personal Training available?

 

Everyday, anytime and in any place!

 

Whether you prefer early mornings or late in the evenings, we will endeavor to meet your training needs!

Is there a cancellation fee?

 

We require 12 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment.

 

 

Will you put me on a diet and make me stop smoking?

 

Smoking obviously brings with it serious health risks and although We do not encourage smoking but it will not stop you from reaching your goals.

 

You will not be forced to diet either although healthy eating is essential to your training success.

 

We are here to help and not to make your life a misery!

What is the purpose of consultation session?

 

In the consultation session we will sit down with you free of charge and talk about your needs, goals and training preferences.

 

This session will also give you a chance to ask any questions you might have about personal training and what we can do for you.

How long will it take until I can see the benefits?

 

You will not see a difference over night, but within four weeks of training you should be feeling and looking better.

 

Whatever it is you are aiming for, we should be on the way by week four!

What's the typical cost of your personal training?

 

Prices depend on training location and the number of people in the session.

 

Booking in bulk will always work out better value for money.
