Kick Start Programme

 

 

All of my Fitness Programmes have 3 levels of intensity to accommodate different fitness levels. All of the levels are based around the pricincples outlined below.

 

The Kick Start programme was designed with dual purpose - for those who are new to exercise completely as well as those who have just been away from exercise for a while and are looking for that extra bit of structure to help keep them on the tracks.

 

An example of the kick start programme is outlined below:

 

Cardio

  • Frequency – 2 – 3 times a week
  • Intensity – 70% MRH – 4 machines
  • Type – continuous training
  • Time - 4 minutes

Resistance

  • Frequency – 2 – 3 times a week
  • Intensity – 2 sets of 12, 70% 1Rm – 6 machines
  • Type – standard lifting
  • Time - approx 16 minutes

Core Stability

Alternate leg switch 10 reps x 2 - Seated hold – build to 20 second
