The Fitness Grading System

The Grading System is designed to measure progression and motivate our clients to push their fitness to the next level.

 

There are 3 stages of grading, each with 4 levels making a total of 12

levels.

 

In order to progress to the next level the below workouts must be completed in a cut off time.

 

Everybody starts at Stage 1 Level 1. After the completion of each stageour clients are awarded acertificate!

 

Grading can be during Personal Training sessions or at certain times during the year.

 

The final week of every second month is deadicated to grading sessions. This takes over all normal services and grading is available during Group Personal Training, The Biggest Loser and Boot Camp sessions.

 

We also book out the Sunday of the grading week at 10am to ensure everyone gets an opportunity to grade.

Stage 1 - Level 1

 

This workout is to introduce you to the Grading System.  A mix of cardio and resistance exercises and a race against the clock.

 

 

 

 

 

Cut off time - 45 minutes

Stage 1 - Level 2

 

This stage will target your rowing skills! A mixture of functional exercises combined with blasts of rowing designed to hit your whole body.

This entry level pyramid challenge, heading up the reps then back down, see how quickly you can complete the list of exercises!

Stage 1 - Level 4

 

Cardio Vs Resistance. 4 zones where you have to complete different cardio exercises with the set resistance exercises.  Each combination has to be completed twice and will definitely push you hard if you are going to complete it in the set time.

Stage 2 - Level 5

 

The first grading level that requires 60mins, and rightly so. This workout will combines a mixture of exercises whilst walking at the same time.

Stage 2 - Level 6

 

The 1000 rep challenge is exactly what the name suggests. 1000 reps in total, broken down into 10 exercises of 100 reps. This will push you all the way whilst hitting your whole body.

The ‘Pyramids Revenge’ looks easy? Try doing it 3 times in 60 minutes! Work your way down the pyramid, the exercises will not leave one area alone, this is a great test of endurance.

Stage 2 - Level 8

 

The last level in stage 2 is the first workout that has a time limit of more than an hour, and it’s a good job as well. This workout puts together the exercises you have been doing in the other levels but has increased the distance. This will really see how you have been progressing.

Not only a test of endurance, but a real test of mental strength as well. The amount of Bur pees will decrease each level but the lap of the hill will also take it out of you. Not for the faint hearted!

Stage 3 - Level 10

 

This workout will test your strength, endurance and planning! The 3000 rep challenge requires you complete 300 reps of the required exercises in under 90 minutes. Plan what order you think will be quickest!

Be one of a few to ever complete a mile of bur pees! The studio will be marked out and you have to walk a pace between each burpee…. sound easy? Just do 124 laps of it.

Stage 3 - Level 12

 

The final level in the amc-training Grading System. Therefore, definitely the hardest. This is the only workout that has a time limit of 2 hours. A mixture of cardio, exercises, and a lot of reps. This is a great test for all, and completion will be an amazing achievement.
